Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3-5 years of employee relations experience covering investigations, performance management, disciplinary processes, policy implementation, and workplace conflict resolution
  • Strong, hands-on working knowledge of Australian or Singapore employment laws, with proven experience applying these regulations in day-to-day employee relations cases
  • Experience advising managers and resolving employee issues under Australian or Singapore labor legislation, not solely Philippine labor laws while supporting offshore clients
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Experience using HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to manage highly confidential employee matters with professionalism and sound judgment

Preferred

  • Experience supporting multi-country or multi-state workforces across APAC
  • Background in a multinational or technology organization
  • Experience managing employee benefits vendors and annual renewals

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations concerns, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws
  • Conduct workplace investigations involving misconduct, performance issues, disciplinary actions, and policy violations
  • Partner with managers to resolve employee issues, manage performance, and implement corrective actions
  • Support employee terminations, redundancies, and other sensitive workforce matters
  • Manage employee relations cases, ensuring timely, consistent, and compliant resolutions
  • Build positive employee relationships to strengthen engagement and retention
  • Administer leave of absence, workplace accommodations, and flexible work arrangements
  • Ensure HR practices comply with local employment laws and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate HR records, documentation, and policy compliance
  • Support internal audits, regulatory reporting, and HR risk management initiatives
  • Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and employee handbooks
  • Recommend and implement improvements to HR processes and systems
  • Administer employee benefits, including health, wellness, and leave programs
  • Coordinate with insurance providers, brokers, and third-party benefits administrators
  • Manage benefits enrollments, employee inquiries, claims escalations, and HRIS data accuracy
  • Coordinate annual benefits enrollment, vendor communications, and plan administration
  • Support benefits program reviews, renewals, cost analysis, and regulatory compliance
